Fire
damage, Smoke damage, Soot damage or lightning:
These
damages are to be reported directly to us. Thereafter we, in
conjunction with the assessor from the appropriate insurance
company, acquire the workmen to do the repair. We advise that
you do not acquire the workmen yourself, unless previously
agreed to by the assessor or us.
Remember
the old saying: “Whoever orders the music, pays for the
music”.
Glass
damage in apartment or house:
Report
the damage to us. We acquire a glazier. Must the window
(thermo) be made to measure, the glazier will sort out
necessary cover in connection with the damage.
Damage
from theft, open theft or robbery:
At
first the damage is to be reported to the police. In Spain it
is the National Police. You can report it in person on the
police station or you can do it over the internet. Should you
choose to report over the internet, it is often a lot faster
and you avoid the long wait at the police station.

The
report can be written in English. Remember to state your full
name, nie. number, the full address, postal code and city, and
the province. The report will then be written and ready for
your signature at your police station the following day after
10 am. Thereafter, with this receipt, you report the claim to
the Insurance Company or to us.
Electrical
damage due to over voltage, electrical induction:
Very
often we experience that Sevillana / Endesa sends out over
voltage, and should bad luck strike, well we will not watch TV
that night. Unfortunately more serious damages are often a
follow of this.
This
sort of damage must first be reported to the Electrical
Company, remember all information just as a report to the
police, also remember the installation number. You will find
this on the invoice: “Contador/es”.
This report can also be done in person or over the internet.

point: Customer complaints. Remember a copy for the Insurance
Company, as this must be attached to the damage report.

this type of damage, the DATE & TIME OF THE DAMAGE is very
important.

by water, damaged pipes:
Report
the damage directly to the Insurance Company or to us. We
often send out the plumber directly – however, let us
acquire the plumber.

general:
When
you report a damage, please remember the policy number. You
know us, and we remember you with pleasure, however, we cannot
remember all your policy numbers. So when we are contacted out
of the office, we can take action as soon as we are back in
the office provided that we have the policy number.
